I was brought up in Waterbeach Cambridge and at the age of 16 started my music career as lead singer in the rock and roll band “Vince Law and the Tremlows“. My first record was produced with a rhythm and blues band called “Earl Grey and the Sovereigns”, with whom I was once again lead singer.

At the age of 21 I moved to Norwich and formed “The Taverners Duo”, that's when I started playing guitar and really got into country music. The duo comprised of myself on guitar and vocals and Reggie on drums. We had a great following, routinely filling village halls, pubs and barn dances.

My path then crossed with that of a drummer called Kenny Smith. We put together a very successful country band called “The Mississippi Delta” and did a tour of Cornwall, Devon and Somerset, made an L.P. called “From The Delta To The Wash” and even won Radio Norfolk's Country Band of the year event held at the Theatre Royal. We also produced an E.P. called “The Best Of British” which was sponsored by Lotus Cars and performed at a N.A.T.O Base In Belgium called S.H.A.P.E. I can honestly say we were pioneers of country music in Norfolk. In the early days you could name country bands in Norfolk on one hand. There were many natural changes in the band. People I have had the pleasure to work with through the Delta Years... Bass Players: Bob Secker, John Ferrington, Chas Smith, Kevin Cain, Neil Reeve, David Pycroft. Lead Guitarists: Colin Watson, Pete Elvin, Ron Pitt, John Stannard, Alan Cannell. Steel Guitarists:.Tony Pitman, Gerry Thain, John Finley, Dave More. Drummers: Kenny Smith, Tony Wrench, Glynn Taylor, George Buckle, Dave Lemon, Derek Townsend, Janel Spalding (a lady drummer who to this day still teaches the art). Apologies to those I have missed out.

I got to the stage where running a band became a bit stressful, so my bass player at the time, Chas Smith took the reins as "Ohio State". Then I moved on to a band called “Lenas Five Card Trick”, from there we went down to a trio. After a short break from the music scene, I returned to form a duo called “The Missippians”.

This brings us up to date and for the last 15yrs or maybe more, I have gone solo. First starting with mini disc backing tracks, I now use a laptop playing through an L2 Bose System using a Shure radio mic. I perform as "Bobby Graham" and offer Country, a little Irish, Rock and Roll, 60s and also many more songs that I personally enjoy and feel will appeal to my audience. I have recently met up with a great guy by the name of Pat James and we worked two or three gigs together at the “Pat James And Friends Club” held at The Anglia Windows Social Club in Norwich once a month throughout the year. A real friendly club and a great success. Pat has inspired me to produce my own website. So here we have it! Thanks to Pat and a big thanks to Pat's son Andy, who designed it. Thanks also to everybody I have had the pleasure to work with over the years.

A BIG BIG THANK YOU!
